Chrome Airplane Halogen Lamp...ID Help??

I have never seen this as a table lamp so it probably is an older edition. This was manufactured by tech lighting from Skokie, IL. Just do a google image search for " tech lighting balloon kable" and it should be in the top five images dispayed. 

Thank you for that information....I believe it is an older piece,due to the chrome base & style of plug,
I live in Chicago & will do some legwork & try to find out more about it.

I am sure you can ask lightology or tech lighting.
