Purchased 2 John Stuart for France & Daverkosen chairs for a steal at an estate sale. Hoping someone on this site can inform if the upholstery on the cushions is original. There are no zippers or openings of any kind on the cushions. There are 6 covered buttons on each cushion. Any other thoughts are appreciated.

I would say the upholstery looks way to good for 50 years old. The buttons and piping are not what I would expect. And the print doesn't look quite right either.
I would think it has been re-done by someone who would have rather had something more traditional. More expected. More in the line of piping and buttons.
