I've been trying to find out about a pair of chairs I've recently acquired. I've found a couple of places online that have named these chairs as the Circle chair by Yngve Ekstrom, but I'm not convinced. They are not labelled or marked at all and although pretty looking things aren't constructed to a high standard. Would love to know more about them - any clues ?
Yes,
That was my point as well. The chair that I was thinking of and posted here is different from the OP chair. I believe it is a Kofod-Larsen design and not a Yngve Ekstrom design. I previously thought that Ekstrom also designed a hoop chair (also different from the OP chair) but I could be mistaken or confused.
Decopedia lists the OP chair ...
Decopedia lists the OP chair as being "attributed" to Ekstrom, so I guess others are not so sure either. I have also seen it described as "Made in Italy, designed by Yngve Ekstrom".

I am actually not one of the guys here with the impressive catalog collections. Wish I was. That was from an online posting of some Selig catalog pages at the website you can order Fagas straps from.

I always thought it was an Ekstrom design but the made in Italy kinda suggests its not.
Someone needs to start a pieces often misattributed thread... I know a good few.
@wesemael. That sticker is just a label that says "contemporary furnishings"
