Ok, I hope my links are going to work so you can see the pictures.

I have been told this chair is by Grete Jalk but I would love to get this confirmed.

It has a teak frame with a black leather buttoned upholstery.

I have had a good mooch around underneath but there are no makers stamps or any clues at all.

If anyone could tell me who manufactured it and the dates it may have been produced I would be most gratefull.

Many thanks. H.Moon

I am pretty certain it is teak, it`s sitting next to a teak coffee table and it is a very good match.
You say the joinery is uninteresting, but it is extremely well made and has a simplicity of design which I have always considered to be Scandanavian, probably Danish.
It has some lovely flourishes like the sculpted flare at the back of the arm rest and the way the wood followes the curve of the back rest, see updated photo.
