Or I should say Blue chair. I picked up this beautiful lounge on an aluminum swivel base with original wool fabric from a gentleman who purchased it in 1966 while working over seas in Germany. He says it is Danish and from the looks of the Torbjorn Afdal Tonos chairs , Eric Buck's and everything else in the home I am assuming it is. Does anyone have an Idea who the designer may be? The dust cover is long gone and there are no signs of the obvious makers marks. Any help to uncover this mystery is appreciated.

I just replaced the foam in the seat. The original was a high quality moulded latex. Definitely a quality chair.
What is the consensus on polishing the base or leaving it alone?

IKEA,hmmm , thanks for the guess. IKEA did make some really cool stuff in the 50s and 60s . Not sure they were using formed latex seat cushions and Perrelli rubber though. The original owner says he bought them at the same store he bought the Tonos chairs. That wouldn't be consistent with IKEA
