hello, my grandparents had a LC4 , they bought in 1971, they say that is an original Cassina, i check on the steel tubular frame and there is only write: LC 4 15997 , no firm of Le Corbusier, and no print on the black base.
The chaise lounge is made of black skin , and the base had the 3 screw like the original.
Help me to understand if is a original or a fake.
thank you
Luca

I am not sure when Cassina started stamping all authentic/licensed/authorized Le Corbusier pieces and part of the I Maestri line.
