Can't ID chair or ottoman...any help?

Sorry, had no idea I was stepping on a fellow DA's toes. The seller allowed me to pick it up this morning. Not that comfortable and there is some fraying to the fabric but was able to talk the price down so it was worth it.

Yes, I'd agree that both items have similarities to some of Wegner's pieces, but there's differences (size of handle space on ottoman and those two rails on the chairs).
It has me stumped.

@jdip: Your communications must have beat mine. On the bright side, it saved me a long haul, but it would have been a cool pickup. Let me know if you do learn anything further about it, as I have been curious and looking for answers for quite some time.

the ottoman doesn't appear to match the chair stylistically....the wood looks different as well. Having it home, does it seem like a matched set?
The ottoman is quite nice, the chair is far less nice, and appears more or less a generic American made thing...unless it shows better from the side...
