Hi,

I would really like to know the designer of this chair
because I only have one chair and I want to buy more.
I've searched everywhere but I can't find them without
a name....
Maybe its a Dutch design (i'm from Holland and thats
where I bought this one).

Hi Joger,
Thank you for your response! Dirk Van Sliedregt was my first impression too. But a designerstore gave me these
designers: Franco Leger/Jürg Bally (1951) On Franco Leger
I can't find any info but Jürg Bally designed a rather famous table...

...but maybe you already know that....
I searched the www but still can't find this chair so I'll
really appreciate any futher information!

There was one a little while back (European seller). Too bad I don't recall the designer. I'm not sure if it sold, so it may pop up again.

I doubt 'Leger/Bally' very much. Did you try the Vlechtmuseum in Noordwolde? I've asked them several times for info. (I'm a wicker lover myself), it may take some time but they always answered my questions (and they know a lot).

Yes, I did ask The Vlechtmuseum. They told me its not
from Gebroeders Jonkers and they don't know the chair.
The designstore who told me the name of the designers
sold these chairs a while ago but without the elbow-rests.
I saw the picture; its the same chair.
Do you know Leger or Bally?

Sorry I do not know these designers (I have the same info. as you saw on the internet). But I doubt they designed this chair, because I have never seen them on my extensive search 'expeditions' for rattan/wicker furniture in the past. Best regards, Joger

hi i sold this one sometime ago on ebay and a set of 6 (three armchairs and three sidechairs)at undesignable berlin. i am sure that the chairs are designed by Gian Franco Legler.
