Hi there,
Can anyone ID the manufacturer of this Charles & Ray Eames Lobby / Executive Chair? Also, when was it made? Unfortunately the chair needed refurbishment as the original hopsak upholstery was worn and old. Anyway, the chair look great to me now in dark brown leather. There are no markings or labels on the chair. Also not on the original upholstery.
Many thanks in advance!

Casters/castors and tilt mechanism look like Vitra.

Thank's a lot tktoo!
Do you or someone else perhaps know the year build by estimate? What is the value of a chair like this?

Sorry, jer. I'm not all that familiar with Vitra production. I am, however, aware of the forum guidelines which request that we refrain from offering valuations.

Dear Tktoo, I'm sorry. Did not know of the guidelines (in my enthousiasm I've overlooked them, now I see and read them) as I am new to this forum. Thanks for let me know and thanks again for the quick answer. Kind regards

Welcome to the forum, jeroent.
Here's one on Lauritz that closely resembles your example:

jeroent,
You get an "A" for recognizing your error, immediately reading the "guidelines" and taking corrective action regarding the valuation request in your initial question.
Vitra is very good at answering inquiries (email) for dating and identification (no valuations) and may be considered the "final word on the subject".
tktoo's answer is enough for me. He is kind and gentle. I am asking for some "kind and gentle" this Christmas, I am sick and tired of "coal and switches".
Nice chair.

Thank you niceguy!
I send an enquiry to Vitra yesterday. Hope they can tell the year build or at least give an an estimate. As soon as I get an answer I will put here it in the comments.
Kind regards and a Merry Christmas to you all!
