Bertoia Slat Bench..Rare find or early knockoff/student work  

HeyJust found an old Bertoia looking weathered slat bench with rusty Y bases.It only holds 7 slats of oak(?!) instead of the usual 8 I use to find on my research.Also the width is up to 253cm with only 2 Y bases attached which seems unusual.The remaining measurements seem to fit the description of an original one.The Base is massiv chrome steel  beneath the rust with remains of black paint, the knot, the proportions and the diameter of the wire look authentic too. Any Idea?....Thanks in Advance.
