Hi all, I posted this in the "Identification" forum a while ago, but got no replies. Leif? Surely you have some thoughts? Can you check it out if you haven't already?

Here are a couple of tables described by their sellers as Finn Juhl for Baker.... the first one (library table) has an especially similar leg design...
What do you think??

I don't remember seeing this table with the others. I do not believe that it showed an exhaustive selection, though. I think it most likely that the table is a George Tanier design as well.
I do not believe there is any chance at all that it is a Juhl.

I agree. I found your other post with the George Tanier coffee tables after I posted the above, and I'm pretty convinced its George Tanier himself.... So he had his own designs made in Denmark? I wish I could find more information about that!

Out of curiosity, though... what makes you think there is no chance it is Finn Juhl? Tanier did import his designs after all. And the details on this table are very, very nice. It's not a cheapie at all.

How about we revisit this other similar post:

I would really like to see some more photos of the table. It does not have a 'Denmark' stamp on it does it?

I did read that post you linked... that is where I got the info about your assertion that George Tanier designed himself.
There are lots of photos on my original post here: http://www.designaddict.com/forum/Identification/Mysterious-and-beautifu...
Would you prefer I re-post them here on this thread?
It does have the "George Tanier Selection Made in Denmark stamp", yes. Just like on teh Vodder pieces except it does NOT say Sibast.

Oh, are you saying we should move this conversation over to the coffee table post you linked?
