Hi there,
I purchased this egg chair recently and the owner could not provide any details of it's history since she herself was gifted the chair years before. I must confess that while i love the look of the egg chair, i know nothing about it so i'm hoping someone can help me determine it's value.
I did some research and many of the markers seem to fit.
These are some of the things i know:
it has no labels
it does not tilt
the fabric could best be described as a tweed/wool
I will attach some photos and really hope someone can help me.

Hi Gloz,
this is my evaluation:
the shape of the base looks like a second version shape.
the shape of the first version (don´t know when they´ve changed 1990?) base is different, like a cross.
the second version should be labeled as the first image show (label at the seat and cushion). If not: than it´s a new upholstery or a copy! the shape is a bit "chubby" and looks slimmer usually. argument for both.
the stitching is no indication because it´s a common technique and is made by hand at FH.
could be done better if original FH. tilt is just an option no must.
my impression is that of a copy (if = than a good looking one).
and niceguy is right. FH is very helpfull with any questions!
