This mark - which looks like a P and S to me - is impressed on the back of the frame of two teak Danish easy chairs from the 1960s. I would very much appreciate your help. PHOTO OF CHAIR BELOW.

Danish furniture mark?
I don't think it's a Danish funiture mark. Doesn't look like it. Could it be from the American manufacturer P&S furniture? See www.psfurniture.ca

I Agree
looks a little too flowery for a Mid Century Danish logo

mmmmm
I looked at the psfurniture website]: not quite! 😉
The chairs are definitely Scandinavian and mid-century modern (very reminiscent in style of Grete Jalk). I bought them personally in Denmark. There are a few Danish marks in that flowery style. Will soon send a picture of the chairs to see whether anyone can recognise them...

Photo of chair
This is the photo of the chair which has the PS scorched mark above. The mark is in the front of the central slat on the back rest of the chair. Apologies for the messy background! Any suggestions in terms of designer or manufacturer would be very appreciated.

Ah.. Ok
that might have been useful information in your opening post!
I felt they looked American because of the trapezoid shape of the front leg/ arm support..it somehow looked a little 'flashy' to me to be Danish .. seems I'm wrong..
Any luck with Furnitureindex ?

yeah the trapezoid shape of the legs is novel to me too..still going through furnitureindex but nothing even similar so far...it may have to remain a mystery..
