Hello all I picked up this pair of chairs recently and they do not have markings or tags. Very nice quality. Don't think they are American. However when you guys start throwing out Scandinavian names my head spins like I just finished off a bottle of tequila. The RetroLampGuy know lamps (a bit anyway) not Danish designers! Any help is appreciated. The seller kept throwing out Kofod Larsen but a google image search makes that seem completely wrong

They do look Danish.
I strongly suspect they have been reupholstered, because the Cambric cover under the seats doesn't strike me as original. The Danes didn't do it that way. And there might be a mark on the underside of the seat. Your choice whether you pull it off to check.
The wood looks like it is Afrormosia or possibly stained lighter wood.
Retrolampguy I was in your shop today, i was the one that offered 950$ for the two lcms. Wish it was a weekday so I could have taken out the cash for them! Bought the old lcm in the basement today. Very cool shop btw.
Now for the chairs you have posted, I have actually seen a pair extremely simular with the same backs and everything. I believe that they are American. Look at the bottom, often times you can tell Danish from American by seeing the quality of the upholstery and how it's stapled and the fabric is cut. The American chairs seem to be a little sloppy on the underside. They also often use a different color wood on the covered seats base. Danish chairs tend to have the one single type of wood. I will say they do look recovered and not messy by the images you've posted. Pretty possible they are Danish.
