Hi everyone, I've looked high and low for these chairs online but have yet to find them. I don't know if they're by a specific maker or designer but they're quality craftsmanship. Does anyone have any ideas? Anything at all would be a great help!!

Hi there!
Where are you located as that might help as to whom these were designed by?

They're in the UK, But I thought they were a bit too sleek to be anything other than Danish! I'd love it if anyone had an idea!

Also I think they've been reupholstered, there are signs underneath, a few newer screws alongside aged ones!

Well I bought them! I'll try and put up some better pictures later. Even if they're nothing special, they can be special to me!

A photo of the underside could reveal hardware that might suggest their origin as well.

They still look quite dark to be teak.
You might start with wood species and see where that leads you. A sharp close up of the side grain and end-grain posted here ought to lead to the answer.
I am not certain they are Danish, or even Scandinavian.

I really don't think they're Danish. More likely somebody British like Cintique or Scandart

Thanks leif and Robert! I think you're right, when I got down to the nuts and bolts with good lighting and no audience I started to think English. I've added some more photos, see what you think!

The wood is Afrormosia. English, Norwegian or Danish are leading possibilities on the wood alone.
I don't see much English furniture in my far distant part of the world, but it seems plausible.

Thanks leif! I've seen quite s bit of English pieces made with afromosia but then again I've seen some from Denmark as well! I have a feeling they will remain a 1960's chair of unknown origin, but I'm ok with that!
