No makers marks whatsoever. Unusual seat "springs" that consist of a rubberized metal grid and 4 rubber "bands" at rear of seat. No visible joinery method although there are wood caps covering what are probably screws? The backrest has recessed dowels. The chair almost looks pre-1950 to me. Super simple design and super sturdy as it can support this 6'2" 200 man (me) with out so much as a creak or wobble. The wood appears to be walnut or hard oak. Any observations (aside from a critique of my photoshop skills) would be appreciated.
DIMENSIONS -
23.5" wide
26" deep
13" seat height
29.5" tall at back
The wood on the arms and legs are 1.25" square.
