Howdy everyone.
I scooped up this chair a little while back and haven't been able to find out much about it. It's marked on the underside of the seat with the words "Made in Denmark" but nothing else notable. Doesn't appear to have been reupholstered. It's beautifully made but not in a style that I recognize. Anybody ever seen one?
I'm keeping it regardless of it's provenance, value, etc. It's got a wonderful shape and the price was right. Just thought it'd be nice to know more about it.
Also, the Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin chair I posted in the "recently acquired" post was identified by the kind folks at Thayer Coggin as a New Dimension Countour Chair and dating from the late 60s. It's about to be recovered so I'll post pics when it's done.
