Hi Guys
I'm struggling to positively ID this chair. It's shorter & wider than a dining chair; the construction of the seat is not laminated like the Edvind Johansen for FDB mobler.
Front legs are longer than the back
Thanks!

Where in the world is the...
Where in the world is the chair?
And what wood is that? It doesn't look greatly like teak in the photo. A fruitwood perhaps or walnut.
And the FDB designs show influences of American Shaker furniture, so it seems possible it isn't Danish at all. Especially if it isn't teak and is in the US.

Hi Leif - It's in Cape Town South Africa
I bought an Alvar Aalto bench 153 and a skandi-form dining chair from the same estate, so would guess it's from scandinavia, finland maybe?
I've had Folke palsson J77 chairs before, similar construction, however the seat on this one is made from solid blocks glued together rather than laminated.
I would guess the wood to be beech.
If it helps at all, the legs are numbered 1-4 to match the numbers on the underneath the seat.
