Here is a dinning table that I picked up a while ago which sat dormant until my wife need a table for her office. I pulled it out of storage and tuned it up. I have no idea of who designed or made this table but while working on it I liked more and more of what the table said to me in quality. A nice well made and well used table. Most of the pictures I'm including speak to how it is built and are the underside of the table. Such as what appears to be an oak sliding mechanism for expanding the table to accept leaves. Which there are 2 flat leaves without rails that measure 23.5 inches by 47 inches each(not shown). The dimension of the table without leaves is 47" x 56". There are no obvious makers marks on the table. It is stamped 75V on various parts. On the underside of the top at one end it is stamped 12 59V next to the rail. I was wondering if this might be a date of December 1959? The V might be a cabinetmaker reference, but this is strictly conjecture. I'm including a followup post as well with more photos. Any info on this table would be appreciated. Thanks

Leif, thank you for the info. Do you know if the 12 59V stamp is a production date? Might this have come with a paper label?
One other related question to Povl Dinesen as a designer/manufacturer. I have two Ib Kofod Larsen dressers that are marked with two ink stamps. One is Povl Dinesen Cabinet Maker and the other is Brande Mobelfabrik. Was Povl Dinesen the maker and Brande Mobelfabrik the distributor? Thanks again for sharing your knowledge and time.
