Thanks to a friend, I'm about to acquire this lovely 1950s teak dining table.
Can anybody help me ID it please?
I'm at a loss.

I looked through my Illums...
I looked through my Illums Bolighus, Anton Dam, Povl Dinesen, John Stuart and Danish Design Center catalogs and nada. I've got a batch of Danish furniture books I'll look through next-but usually if its not in any of those catalogs its hard to find. I'm sure Simon knows, though......

Not a fan of the table at...
Not a fan of the table at all.
It's proportions appear clumsy and it looks uncomfortable to sit at.
That said, it reminded me of this for some reason..

Yes, Tapiovaara came to my mind too, as did Borge Mogensen and Karl Erik Ekselius, but still can't find it!

.
hey Robert - it may be a Ercol - a non extending table, otherwise identical came up at Bonhams 10 years ago with an ercol attribution - had a set of butterfly chairs with it. I'll scan a pic from the catalogue when I get a mo - maybe a day or two. Nice touch.
