glass wall sconces id  

hi all,

picked up a lovely pair of wall sconces the other day and was hoping someone might be able to help identify them or take a rough guess at the maker.

they are constructed of three mounted plates of glass with a cracked ice thing going on, on top of a backplate with two cruciform arms that hold the glass on using chrome fixings.

i'm going with italian based on design style but also because, as you can see from one of the pics, the housing for the lightbulb has the 'vlm' mark which i believe was used by achille castiglioni for vlm components, buccasino, italy.
