| Dimensions Carefully measure the chair. Current Knoll production is 21.75"W x 19.75"D x 28.75"H, with a seat height of 17.75"; repros are almost always a few inches deeper and a little narrower, and usually an inch or two taller. | |||||

| I have a question about dimensions too Hey, I've been looking at this piece of furniture recently also and there are huge inconsistensies in the reproduction versions. Could someone tell me how high the base should be? Like from the ground to the center of the cross pieces that the top part rests on? If anyone could tell me that it would really fantastic! | |||||

| The proper dimensions of a Nelson Eye Clock... Whether you call it a reproduction or a knockoff, the Eye Clocks being sold today do not conform to the specifications of the original. As an initial matter, the "lashes" or hour markers are inverted on the reproduction. For whatever reason, Vitra erroneously put the long end of the lash on the inside of the clock, instead of the outside. Second, the original eye clock was slightly fatter than the repro. And at least my original one has never bowed. Also, I think the Vitra clock's wood is stained to a walnu ... | |||||

| Knockoffs is a subject that drives me to disctraction... The plain and simple truth of the matter is that many of these designs are no original even when made by the lisence holders. Production changes, changes in materials and in some cases changes in dimensions, render them all'knockoffs' to some degree or other. Secondly, what these so called 'true manufacturers' axctually hold is the copyright license to the name of the product...that right folks the NAME,just he name, or the designer or of the chair. The design specs have long passed into the public dom ... | |||||

| Hey there - I have a Hvidt/France & Son Boomerang chair but no cushions and have noticed that folks that have the original cushions tend to have chairs that look better than some others (that look too thick). Anyone have the actual dimensions handy to share for original bottom and back cushions for this chair? THANK YOU!! | |||||

| ... that, from looking at other examples online, I think the dimensions are wrong. They seem a bit too thick (at around 4 inches), a bit too long in the case of the seat cushion, and too tall in the case of the back. If anyone has a set of original cushions, or more exact copies, I would really appreciate it if you could share the measurements. Thanks. | |||||

| ... button needs adjusting. I've never sat in the new larger size chairs. At 6ft/200lbs, I can tell you that the original dimensions are best suited to those closer to or under 5'-4"/140lbs. My wife and daughters love it (and look much better in it than I ever will). Let go of the desire for "that new leather smell." It's overrated and doesn't last anyway. | |||||
