| Just checked my website And it definitely says 'Our version' & the first page says 'Furniture inspired by' , plus ours is £299 - so I think you are getting the two mixed up, exactly what I didnt want. Lots of hyphens in MCO, so similar name but very different URLs. | |||||

| ... I didnt realise that this was not returnable and emailed them straight after the order. They returned my email fairly quickly after a few days. It seems that this is in high demand and so they are happy to do returns. I have trawled through a fair number of places lookig for vintage knoll chairs but not had too much luck. Often they seem to be sold in pairs. No doubt there is one out there at the right price but for the time being I will go for the repro and hope for the best. | Mario forgive me - i was confused. For some reason I didnt connect the term "grandpa" to an actual item... I thought you meant a real grandpa...which is why I responded as such. As a matter of point there are 3 grandpas in my room. None appear in the pictures, but they do enhance the warmth of the room. I have a lovely old oak desk that I make art on, a blue cracked (and repaired) Eames fiberglas rocker, and an Eames DCW that was rescued from the trash. And my house itself is definitely "patina rich". 🙂 | |||||

| SUCCESS AND FINALITY! Hey Spanky and all the others. The chair is almost finally done! So.. I finally shelled out $60 for a local upholsterer to do the armrests. He did a good job on the welting. His skill with a staple gun might be called into question - but oh well. He also forgot to leave the bolt holes exposed. I spent about 20 minutes with a pin trying to find the holes. But once I did...well.. the chair is a thing of beauty. And best of all - I stopped back into the local junk shop where I found the whole chair. The owner of the store saw me, da ... | |||||

| I've been holding off Hey Spanky, I did get a lot of the work done. So far I have sanded and refinished the wood, burnished the aluminum base, and recovered all three cushions. I used a beautiful classic black leather from Kyson - I have plenty left over for the armrests. I used a bookbinding trick when making the welts - rather than sewing I brushed some PVA onto the leather and folded it over the cord. Holds perfectly. Boston has a great shop called Windsor Button, so i was able to find some black leather buttons for about $.40/each. A light scr ... | |||||

| ... at 30 dollars a piece, i am happy to aquire these and hold on to them as a starving, furniture obsessed, student. I really like the feel of the chair and the fact that they are adjustable - thanks podboy for the help with the links - i dont know why i didnt find it on furnitureindex.dx the first couple of times i searched - this is one of the many reasons I really enjoy this forum - helping each other out with our design inquiries. thanks again. | |||||

| very sorry to seem so "Townie" but i just prefer city life,i have a top floor apartment with massive windows which overlook the city and im quite happy with that,im not a nature hater but i just dont know anything of it!. My neighbour has a Range Rover and her mother has Labradors?.I dont have a co-op either im afraid just a sainsburys. I will try and learn more of the "countryside",are the people there friendly?. | get a balance i wouldn't trust any of these cheap far eastern 200 euro barca chairs. Come on stop being so cheap find a balance too cheap is always to bad to expensive always over rated. try egamma limited. solid chair i loved it an if i didnt i could give it back within 7 days, it only costs £285.00 | |||||
