	Thanks ok, I really appreciate your response By and by, the ITEM is a black leather lounge chair with matching ottoman. Drove 50 miles to check it out again and diDN'T buy it. A little too much money and it had the feel of being more recent. I may still buy it as I am at this store alot, but I would like to pay a little less. Cuz I am CHEAP

I had been doing the googling but was having trouble deciding between elm and beech for a coffee table, what veneer was on a sideboard and whether some dining chairs were actually rosewood!! 	a good day pickin 2 florence Knoll arm chairs 3 Thonet plywood chairs Some nice bric a brac and saw the last item, but didn't buy. Any help w/ ID? Very distinctive handles. Crawled all over this baby looking for markings!

	... it helped it from flopping backwards every time you sat in it. Any luck sourcing a replacement spring? I think I looked into that swivel chair parts web site before but they only sell the entire base for the eames knock off and I don't think it lined up with the hole pattern of the Mr. Chair and I didn't want to drill into my chair to make it work.

	I confess to having touched up a Saarinen Where the laminate top and wood meet,as the edge bevels under was horribly chipped when I got it.I masterfully touched it up with a cream colored benjamin moore paint,to blend perfectly.Most people would have just slapped on white paint,but I really took pains to match the tempered,patinaeted color,and didn't over apply it.Anyhow,it looks great.

I had no qualms about fixing it up. The signs of use (or better word abuse) did NOT add character in this case. It made the table look like junk. I got the table for next to nothing at a junk store. 	I lied.... Well I didn't lie...I just can't find the picture I thought I had. My external has tens of thousands pictures categorized perfectly...well almost perfect. No "down the bayou" modern house boat. The next best thing is in Arizona. Has anyone heard of El Cosmico? 	click on link maybe this is not working as the chairs i am trying to identify are not the black ones shown here, I didn't know how to order the pics on the link to show mine first. The black are a recent award winning design, the red is the cassina chair.

	Funny I know y'all are wanting to see pictures and as soon as I get home, I'm going to find it and post it. I was floating on a house boat in the bayous of south Louisiana for 2 days. A bunch of us were moving the house boat to state owned land that a cousin of mine was leasing. The area being leased was really close to the Gulf of Mexico....in order words, in the middle of no where...20 miles from the nears town. When we arrive to the area, there were a few house boats tied to the bank of a particular chenier. The very first house boat was really cool and modern....didn't expect to see it out there. I have a picture at home and will post it tonight. Stay tuned......

	Isn't asbestos a bird? 🙂 My 30 desks were put to the side for me. BUT I did look in the dumpster and saw a ton of asbestos tiles and a sea of colorful fiberglass....even a bunch of contract colors that I've never seen in person. I didn't have my phone or camera on me....would have been a sad sad picture. I don't know wth to do with 30 desks...besides put them in the corner of my dining room.
