	I didn't create the scatches,... I didn't create the scratches, I don't know their history and to me they are not desirable, so I'm wondering if there is a way I can buff them out. None of the other pieces in my place are vintage, and I don't even like the "vintage" look to begin with. I like new and shiny. 🙂 Any help is appreciated, thanks.

	woofwoof: I didn't think of... woofwoof: I didn't think of that, but I'm not surprised to hear it of course... In what ways has the chair changed over the years? I thought the dimensions of Knoll's version would be closest to the Pavilion original, but if it has changed a lot over the years, maybe other factors, such as the way the fasteners attach etc, are more important... Heath: That might be an option actually, although my own experience is that it's usually very hard to get any sponsoring from big companies. It's worth a try though!

I've already said how much of a great resource the website is and how much I appreciate the advice of the community and the founders of the site. 	Wegner didn't employ crude... Wegner didn't employ crude seat brackets either (pic 3). It's conclusive that these aren't originals. It's interesting that these chairs are 95% identical to the Denmark made versions yet fetch a fraction of the price the originals do. A bit of a statement about the Australian market I guess but also a reflection of how we view labels.

I do know GP made ceramics, but haven't been able to view a lot of it. Since these are unmarked, the only way I'm likely to find out is thru my friend's library. I hope this doesn't break any advertising rule - I just thought it would be neat to see some of my long time addicts in person at my show... 	It's so difficult to find... It's so difficult to find these things on the web but I did look at a Swan website which just seemed to focus on electric ones (some pretty old) and most were made of copper or steel, I didn't see any aluminium ones. I just found a museum of technology on the web and have asked them a question and provided the pic address for them so maybe they might be able to give a more precise idea? Thanks anyway!
