	@gigidowntown If all dimensions are correct, welding is high-quality, and the glass sits flat, authenticity is a fair bet at a fair price, IMO. It's always a gamble, though, with private, no-guaranty sales.

	on the alanda... Thanks Starline. I have the matching wide lounge chair, both pieces in tan, and they're beautiful and unique together. Some one in San Francisco should be able to fix the arms.

	It looks exactly like a fake. You can find this table in the store and compare the quality of production.

	I bought the longer version over three decades ago and it was in mint condition until a few weeks ago when I attempted to remove a small stain, made it worse and called in a professional who entirely killed the cushion trying to clean it. My question: Is there any way of getting covers for the cushions and material for the rest of it directly from B&B? I have sent an email but no answer has been received. Failing which any kind of advice on finding the type of leather used by B&B and how to find an upholsterer with the know-how and touch to restore this piece to a like new condition would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

	Can anybody help me to define wheteher this table is a real B&B Italia one? The seller is not sure, he claims that he got the table as a gift and doesn´t know the manufacturer. Its size is 100x100cm with a high of 36cm (roughly 39'x39' with a high of 14') Thank for your help jaburu

	The chairs were designed by Paolo... The chairs were designed by Paolo piva in the early 80s, I think, and B&B produced them through the 80s and into the early 90s. I can't remember the name of the chair, but it might have been "Alanda"; I know that piva produced a sofa and coffee table of the same name around the same time (link below).
