I didn't sit in it, or learn the price. http://www.dianedepolignac.com/boutique_us/fiche_produit.cfm?type=11&ref=M60&code_lg=lg_us&pag=1&num=0

I always liked this idea of finding new ways to perform and listen to pieces that were composed centuries ago...or not, and pay attention to the differences. Of course you end up with a CD collection like mine with 5-6 versions of the same piece...Given the possibility I would love to see the 2005 interpretation of any Eames piece, including their home.

| ... one recognized it as the same chest of drawers introduced in 1954 and part of the Planner Group series by Paul McCobb for Winchendon. There are many books out there on good furniture repairs, restoration and conservation. You don't need to buy them. Check your public library to see what they have. Some libraries will let you request a good book for purchase that is not in the library catalog. Start with basic repairs like properly cleaning your find or properly gluing loose pieces back together and build your confidence from there. Soon you will be tack ... | |||||

| ... weigh--could sing like NOBODY else. Made this haole weep. I hope there is a heaven and I make it, because I want to hear IZ, who died some time ago, and Judy, who died so long ago now, do a duet. On a more recent vacation I dived into a n odd book called "Lounge." It was printed back in the dark ages of 1998 (I know... the lounge retro-fad has passed). Regardless, the book called itself an encyclopedia of lounge and martini music. My love of the incredible diane Schur (and martinis) attracted me to the book (she was favorably discussed in it) and it rekind ... | |||||

| Any new... or relatievly new (laser cutting has been around for 20 years or so) will produce a large number of applications, and as has beeen pointed out some are good and some bad. The technology as such does not produce quality and to get too excited about it is never a good start. Yet it seems to be the way human things go. Excesive behaviour always seems to preceed a more reasonable one. Nuclear stockpiling, sex, car use, computer games or laser cutting, it all follows a pattern development, excessive use and the inevitable decline into a more mature and more enjoyable balance. I guess that we will have to live through this one to. I must admit that some of it is charming....I like the associated web links so here goes my contribution http://www.dianesteverlynck.be | |||||

| Infant/toddler pants with snaps. Perhaps not so highbrow but I have 2 kids and have never been in a situation that it would have been easier to unsnap and resnap 8-12 snaps on the legs of a squirmy child than just pull down the pants, change diaper and pull them back up. Yet I have loads of these for both kids. All those snaps seem to accomplish is drafty, lumpy pants. | |||||

| Thanks Jesgord, The part... Thanks Jesgord, The part that covers the electrical connections, but from your photos I can't tell what it is. One photo it looks like it's white and too narrow and the other photo it looks black and I can't see what it looks like exactly. I do appreciate you posting images though. I love that lamp! To think that my grandfather was in diapers when Henningsen designed this blows my mind. | |||||

| Not for everyone, but i have a half dozen sheep skins. Tossed on a fabric chair is really good protection and they wash fine. I have two black ones i bought at the Union Sq market on the couch. Daily dog protection. (i have a 16yr old large breed dog in diapers these days : ) My home is lived-in and enjoyed. Nothing is more valuable than family and friendship. I do think it is a reasonable concern to prep some things for guests. Days later when your dealing with the restore of a scotch ring sucks...a little prevention is not that hard. I have some fucked-up ... | |||||

| ... day. For money. So why would I (or any other) WANT to design something for free that I do all day every day for compensation? Does that spell it out for you? This is how I put diapers on my child. Giving away free time is stealing from him. And, no, I don't share the notion that you could just whip out a decent logo with one of the many programs available to you. Or I assume that you would have. People get educated to be able to do this - by university or my trial and error. BTW - this site was created for modern furniture and architecture. | |||||

| It's just what I needed. Well while we're in confession mode, I have to confess that my PH5 is a FAKE. And not even the "good" kind of fake from Italy, but probably from CHINA, where it was made by 10-year child slaves, who have to wear diapers to work, because they're forbidden bathroom breaks. OMG. I just bought myself a one-way ticket to Hell, didn't I? As much as I hate eternal damnation and all that, I really do like this lamp though so.... it's probably worth it anyway. What else do I think makes sense? I like the handle--its quite like my old Emmy in placement, shape and texture. I like the colors. They add visibility (seat trim at top) at points where its useful AND at points of high contact (wheels, handle, grab rail and seat) seem to minimize soiling. But... The buggaboo seems to suffer from short wheelbase syndrome, a high center of gravity, no appa ... | |||||
