wright or diamond? | 2 Relevance | 13 years ago | barbra | General discussion
wright or diamond? wright did design the american modern line for conant ball. all of those pieces have his name stamped in the logo of conant ball... until his contract with them ended. then those american modern pieces no longer have his name on them. he did NOT design the modernmates line for conant ball. leslie diamond did. there is a tiny amount of evidence from old magazines and design shows that mr. ball designed modernmates . despite what ann kerr says, there is no evidence that wright designed modernmates. russel wright studios llc says that russell ...

American Modern Conant Ball Russell Wright Leslie Diamond | 2 Relevance | 14 years ago | NULL NULL | General discussion
American Modern Conant Ball Russell Wright Leslie diamond Thank you all very much. All this wonderful information creates more questions. As you van see by the recent photo that I have attached the Conant Ball pieces with the round pulls do include the American Modern mark suggesting that it is earlier then the Modernmates line. Also, some of the info that I have read implies that if it is marked American Modern it is attributed to Russell Wright. Could these pieces have started out as early RW and then perhaps switched up or upgraded by Leslie diamond / ...

The diamond on the Wright website is beautiful, $10,000 is a bit steep though... Seems absurd Knoll made half a chair just to ship a cushion.

I believe knoll didn't... I believe knoll didn't flatten the wire edges until recently. Also a new addition was to weld the bottom wires (where your legs rest) on the underside of the main contour or outline of the diamond. That was discussed here before.

As far as Swiss diamond goes | 2 Relevance | 17 years ago | barrympls | General discussion
As far as Swiss diamond goes I went into my gourmet kitchyen supply store looking for an excellent non-stick egg fry pan. They suggested Swiss diamond, and I've had my pan for over a year and it works great. I only use wooden spoons and plastic or nylon spatulas and turners on the pan. Anyone who would scrap any kind of non-stick pan with a metal fork is gonna find damage. I have put my pan into the dishwasher many times, although I have started hand washing it, becauuse the dishwashing chemicals really are a bit harsh. I took the diamond angle to mean th ...

Edra, Diamond collection by Edra with Swarovski crystals. | 2 Relevance | 17 years ago | Gustavo | General discussion
Edra, diamond collection by Edra with Swarovski crystals. Yes there are people that need it. This is a new concept! This is new! And I don,t think it is wrong, I admire the people that need it. Is it new, or is it another wave of barroquism after minimalism/modernisim and borroquism/ again? Always into postmodernism yet. Diamond collection by Edra with Swarovski crystals. ,,,,, In 2001 edra presented diamond sofa, a Flap sofa studded with Swarovski crystals. In order to make this sinuous sofa with mobile parts sparkling, more than 750.000 crystals were used ...
