| This dish rack was the first... This dish rack was the first thing I bought because I knew the design was good (Zojila dish rack). I knew it was a good design because I cook and wash dishes daily. I don't have any design background. I learned enough to buy bigger things partly because of forum members here. | |||||

| Designing a new dish To pay homage to the founder of this crazy thread, I suggest substituting crushed up blue tortilla chips as the coating for the chicken instead of the flour and calling it "Southern Fried Azure Chicken". Pah dum pum. | |||||

| The dish doctor Does anyone here have a Magis dish doctor that they actually use on a daily basis? It looks nice in person, but stick out like a sore thumb. We went on an endless search for a nice dishrack and ended up with a cheapie white one from Target, best of all it doesn't stick out. http://www.surrounding.com/Products/Magis/Dish_Doctor.asp | |||||

| dish O -- I'll start looking (I have NO life but Design!) Is Koen going to sit this one out? I think the 50's Scandinavian (?) one I remember was all Stainless -- just a dished tray and a loaf-shaped cover; maybe without a handle. But it wasn't large -- I agree that you want to have PLENTY of room inside so the lid never touches the. . .buddah. Let the shopping -- beGIN ! (I'm a little loopy from Nyquil and no sleep) | |||||

| Butter dish (Okay, I'm a design whore; I'll talk about anything !) Why am I thinking Danish Modern. . .Did Georg Jensen have a nice little teak -and-stainless number, once upon a time? Don't know about function; I certainly agree about the glass issue. Russell Wright? (I can honestly say I don't believe FLlW ever did a butter dish -- but I'd probably be proved wrong.) | |||||
