Pierre PAULIN: Rare ‘ Tulipe ‘ table for BORO (Belgium) 1972. Model 8810. White ABS base. Top in white melamine veneer. Note: Crack (characteristic of this model) in the top of the base. It has been repaired with special glue and reinforced with metal brackets fixed inside (and therefore invisible – see photos). A few dings and scratches around the top (partly hidden by white plaster). ABS has yellowed uniformly over time. Diameter: 110cm. Height: 74cm. Pierre Paulin was a pioneer in shaping the 60’s with his organic designs and bright colors. He has designed iconic pieces of the French flower power and Space Age Era.
