The year 2009 will mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall.Create Berlin has called on all designers from Berlin to work together in interdisciplinary teams and to think about the effect the sudden abundance of free space after the fall of the wall has had on creativity in and from Berlin. Only the best entries were selected and will be presented to an international audience during the Tent London festival.
In search of innovative resolution concepts, ‘et la benn’, a young industrial design agency based in Berlin, developed ‘Swoc’, a modular storage system that offers a variety of combinations and a flexible fabric feel. The fabric skin is what sets it apart from other storage systems.
