Bicycle design competition

James Thomas is running a ‘commuter bike for the masses ‘design competition on his Bicycle Design blog. The idea is to design a transportation oriented bike that will appeal to the many people out there who are currently not cyclists. What kind of bicycle, or pedal powered machine, would it take to get some of those people to park the car and give riding to work a try? Cannondale is providing a Bad Boy commuter bicycle for the winner.
