Tribute to Massimo Vignelli

As you probably know, Massimo Vignelli passed away a few months ago. With his wife Lella, he was one of the greatest 20th century designers. His talent was expressed as much in the field of graphic design in that of product design. 
Today, many testimonials inspired by his work are showing up.
 
A small website recently appeared on the web. This site is dedicated to serve as an archival record of a first edition NYCTA Graphics Standards Manual designed by Massimo Vignelli of Unimark International. The manual was found in a locker beneath old gym clothes.
