Wilkhahn Delta 2000 Highback black leather office chair by Delta Design

This Wilkhahn Delta 2000 Highback office chair in a deep black leather tone, polished aluminium and with black shells, is in excellent condition. The leather is impeccable. The plastic shell of the back of this model is completely covered with leather. The aluminium base is polished in very good condition with new castors. Small incision at the corners of the armrest. The chair is rotatable and has a rocker function. The Delta 2000 model was designed by the Delta group in 1968.  A classic of the Mid Century Modern office chairs. Wilkhahn was founded as a chair factory by Friedrich Hahne and Christian Wilkening more than 100 years ago. In 1946 contact was established with the Deutsche Werkstätten with the designers Georg Leowald and Herbert Hirche, who worked in the Bauhaus tradition. Since then, Wilkhahn has been one of the premium manufacturers of office furniture.
