Scandinavian Vintage suspension by Kurt Wiborg for Jeka Metaltryk (Denmark). Circa 1970 (Mid-Century Modern). Components: White lacquered aluminum and plastic. In working order. In good vintage condition with few traces of use (small crack at the upper element, almost invisible once hanged; missing ceiling cup (but easy to find for 5€). Diameter: 47 cm x Height: 24 cm. This model is very rare (just googlize to realize it). Originally a manufacturer for other major Danish brands, Kurt Wiborg began his own creations in the 1970s, inspired by Poul Henningsen. These lightings are designed on a multi-screen reflective system. In this way, the light is distributed over several discs. This allows the light to shine both horizontally and downward. The aluminium hulls are painted white on the underside, so that the light distribution is soft and uniform. They are part of the great Danish tradition like other large companies such as Fog og Mørup, Lyfa, Louis Poulsen, Lyskær, Nordisk Solar or Carl Thore (Sweden).
