Floor lamp from the Metamorfosi series, designed in 1996 by Hannes Wettstein for Artemide. Metamorfosi is a technique by Artemide. By using dichroic filters, each of four halogenic light bulbs emit one of the three basic colours plus white. By dimming each light colour individually with a remote control, endless light moods can be created. Several one are pre-programmed, and own ones can be saved in the remote control. Dichroic filters are still state of the art and, regarding clearness of colours, much better than modern LED’s. The Metamorfosi technique was used by several designers to create different lamps for Artemide. The offered one – Antinoo – was designed by Hannes Wettstein. The model is extremely rare and hardly ever on the worldwide market. The lamp is in an almost perfect condition, except for the fact, that the battery cap of the remote has to be fixed with scotch film. Technically the lamp is 100% working as well. The dimensions: Height 180 cm, diameter 40
