Beautiful set of chairs designed by the Finnish designer Alvar Aalto. This chair, model 66, is like most of his designs, made of light coloured birch wood with curved and organic shapes. Model 66 is designed in 1932 but this set dates from the 1960s. Therefore produced by Artek. The set is in very good condition with all chairs sturdy and no veneer missing. For some reason one chair has been stripped of the cushion but I have decided not to upholster the chair. I want the buyer to choose whatever he or she wants. H x w x d = 78-45 x 40 x 46 cm / 30.7-17.7 x 15.7 x 18.1 inch.
