A very beautiful and classy landscape format painting from the 1950s. Still life in an expressionistic representation, oil on canvas, stretched on a wooden frame. The frame is made of white lacquered wood and has a raffia finish. Unfortunately, I have no further information on the origin of the painting. It is signed ‘Porto’ lower left, inscribed on the reverse and has an adhesive label reading ‘Santa Clara’. A typical mid century artwork and a great addition to any modernist interior. Good condition, two very small dents (see picture), the frame has minimal signs of wear.
