Mid-Century sideboard by Jiří Jiroutek for Interiér Praha, 1960s

A truly elegant and functional sideboard, model U-452, designed by Jirí Jiroutek for Interiér Praha in the 1960s, Czechoslovakia.

This particular model, from the famous series of sideboards by the designer, is made from plywood and features 2 removable sliding doors in addition to a central wooden shelf inside supported by 4 metal holders (2 from each side). This sideboard can therefore be easily disassembled for a quicker and much easier transport.

This sideboard is in very good original condition, it is very practical and clean and is perfect for everyday use. It may however show some wear, consistent with age and use.

This is a truly classic and elegant piece that would most definitely make a great addition to any contemporary living space or home office! This piece is a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature.
