Large hotel wall sconces with a brass fixture and glass spheres, made by Kamenický Šenov in the 1970s, Czechoslovakia.
These extraordinary lamps were manufactured by Kamenický Šenov and designed by Jaroslav Bejvl Sr. Afterwards their design was further developed by sculptor Ivo Vyhnánek. Each of these lamps features a beautiful brass frame with 2 large glass spheres. In addition, there are as well smaller glass spheres with carved pattern in the middle of each lamp.
These lamps are truly gorgeous and are perfect for everyday use. They will most definitely make a great addition to any contemporary living space or home office! When switched on, the light coming from the lamps brightens the room absolutely beautifully!
They are in very good original condition as their frames were of course completely professionally cleaned and most importantly, they work absolutely perfect without any technical defaults of any kind as we have completely rewired them. Please note however that the lamps may still show some wear, consistent with age and use, which of course does not affect their functionality at all.
The lamps are a well-known design that is well documented in general design literature and are a fantastic example of Mid-Century modern design.
