Kengu leather armchair in an exceptionally beautiful honey-colored leather combined with dark wood. The leather is in a very good condition, shows only slight patina on the armrests, the dark-colored wooden frame is in excellent condition. This model is a lounge chair with a high backrest and high seating comfort.
The Kengu Chair was designed by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim and was designed for the Norwegian manufacturer Rykken in the 1960s. These armchairs were produced until the 1970s. The unique shape of the curved feet enable high degree of comfort and made by their peculiar design of this chair to become a classic.
