A stunning Terni executive desk designed by Ico Parisi in 1958 for MIM (Mobili Italiani Moderni), Rome, Italy. This elegant executive desk is made of beautifully grained Indian rosewood with aluminium details. The curved desktop is veneered with rosewood veneer and floats above the solid X-shaped legs. The sculptural legs provide a great open appearance and show outstanding eye for detail and proportions. The legs have beautiful aluminium details underneath the desk top and have aluminium caps on the feet. One larger aluminium foot to maintain the balance of the sliding drawer unit when it’s extended. The desk accessories comprise an extending double sided drawer unit with lock and key and a single shallow drawer to the underside of the desk top. Marked with manufacturers label on the inside of the top drawer. The desk is in excellent condition, it’s recently restored and finished with a UV and water protective lacquer.
