Set of 2 lounge chairs with short backrests by Hans Kaufeld from the 1960s. The leather has gotten a fantastic bottle green tone over the years and is in very good condition. Slight abrasions on the corners of the backrests. Excellent seating comfort thanks to the thick back cushions that are typical of Kaufeld. The rotating mechanism works smoothly and the chrome of the star feet is in perfect condition. Hans Kaufeld founded his manufactory in Bielefeld in 1918 and concentrated on the production of high-quality furniture in an attractive design. These lounge chairs were designed in the 1960s and also found their place in the Chancellery. Beautiful designer pieces with a first-class seat feeling.
