Gavina / Knoll Bastiano leather armchair by Afra & Tobia Scarpa

This Bastiano armchair, produced by Gavina or Knoll, has a black wooden frame and black leather. The armchair shows signs of wear on the wooden frame, the leather has a clear patina on the top of the side cushions. The back cushion has already been re-covered with leather. The seating comfort is perfect. Afra & Tobia Scarpa designed the Bastiano armchairs in the 1960s for the Italian manufacturer Gavina, which is known for extraordinary designer furniture.
