Gavina / Knoll Bastiano 2 seater cord sofa by Afra & Tobia Scarpa

This 2 seater corduroy sofa was manufactured by either Gavina or Knoll in the 1960s and is in solid condition with a noticeable patina. The dark brown wooden frame shows signs of wear on the upper armrests and the back, but these give the sofa a certain something. The green cord cover of the cushions is in good condition with slight signs of wear. Afra & Tobia Scarpa designed the Bastiano armchairs in the 1960s for the Italian manufacturer Gavina, which is known for extraordinary designer furniture. At a later date, the production of the Bastiano model by Knoll Int. accepted.
