Authentic dining table “Taliesin” designed in 1917 by famous American architect and interior designer Frank Lloyd Wright and produced in 1980s/1990s by Cassina, Italy.
This timeless table was designed 100 years ago and still fascinates with its stunning architectural shape and form. That beautifully reflects the transition between traditionalism and modernity in the design of the early 20th century, an era when such masters of architecture and design like Frank Lloyd Wright implemented revolutionary ideas in their work which led to evolution into modernism.
The table features a large cherry top which rests on a solid wooden base. Producer marking is featured on the bottom side of one of the horizontal beams. This table is in very good original condition. There hasn’t been any restoration work done, no repairs or anything that could affect its authenticity. Some slight traces of cosmetic wear are present (eg. small superficial scratches to the wooden surface etc). The structure of the table is perfect, very sturdy and, in condition as it is now, could last for many years to come.
The table measures 250 cm in length, 98 cm in depth and 71.5 cm in height.
