This very nice Swiss model DS-88 high-quality patchwork leather modular sofa was made by de Sede in the 1970s. The sofa is composed of four base sections, each consisting of a square platform and comfortable loose leather cushion.
Four heavy angled steel plates covered with leather stabilize the large seat cushions and the back rest cushions above. These angled pieces feature magazine holders on the back.
All units/pieces of this sofa can be arranged freely without using any screws or other connection elements.
Light wear consistent with age and use, partially restored patchwork leather.
Seat height : 40 cm
