C&B Italia Amanta Leather Armchair Set of 2 by Mario Bellini

This set of 2 Amanta armchairs comes in a caramel colored leather finish and white fiberglass shells. The leather is in excellent condition with some patina. The leather has changed from cognac to caramel in some places over time. The fiberglass shells are in excellent condition. The armchairs can be placed individually or combined to form a sofa. The Italian manufacturer C&B Italia was founded by Cesare Cassina and Piero Busnelli and was fully taken over by Busnelli in 1973. At this point the company was renamed B&B Italia. The Amanta armchair was designed by Mario Bellini for C&B Italia in 1963 and is one of his most famous designs
