In the year 1964, Cassina signed a licence agreement to us the designs from Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand and manufacture furniture using these drawings.
From there on Cassina is well known for voluminous and generous furniture in cooperation with the best designers and in highest quality.
The maralunga chair was designed in 1973 by Vico Magistretti and stands out of other chairs as it can be converted from a stylish lounge chair to a serious armchair within seconds.
This black Maralunga was manufactured in the well known thick leather in the 70s. It comes in very good condition, the leather nearly without any marks and the joints of the backrest working well.
