Asko Oy black leather armchair by Olli Mannermaa

This extraordinary lounge chair in black leather is in very good condition. The leather cover shows minimal signs of wear, primarily at the corners of the outer shells. The seat cushion in Chesterfield quilting is flawless and offers good seating comfort. The metal star base is very solid and rotates perfectly. The Finnish furniture manufacturer Asko was founded in 1919 and made a name for itself in the 1960s and 1970s when it collaborated with high-ranking designers and delivered innovative design. The Finnish interior designer Olli Mannermaa designed this armchair in the 1970s.
